Scale 3 - £24,759 for Full time
Hours of Work
Term Time: 3.30am – 7.30pm
College Term Breaks: 8:15am – 12:15pm
About the Role
As a Cleaner, you will play an important role in ensuring our college facilities are maintained to a high standard for students, staff and visitors. You will be responsible for cleaning a range of areas across the college and helping to create a positive environment in which people can learn and work.
Key responsibilities include:
- Cleaning classrooms, offices, corridors, washrooms and communal areas.
- Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately.
- Vacuuming, mopping, dusting and sanitising designated areas.
- Replenishing cleaning and hygiene supplies as required.
- Reporting maintenance issues, damage or health and safety concerns.
- Ensuring cleaning equipment and materials are used and stored safely.
- Following cleaning schedules and health and safety procedures.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Has previous cleaning experience, although full training will be provided.
- Is reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
- Has a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
- Can work effectively as part of a team.
- Has good attention to detail and a commitment to providing an excellent service.
